Ming S. Liu, Ph.D
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Dr. Liu possesses more than 15 years of diversified experience in bio-products development, sales and marketing, business development, and operational management. He was previously the founder and CEO of eGene, Inc. a biotech company based in Irvine, California, and positioned the company for acquisition by QIAGEN (NASDAQ: QGEN) in 2007.
Christina Yip, BBA, CMA
Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) and Secretary
Ms. Yip has been CFO and Secretary of Pacgen since April 2006. She brings to Pacgen over 20 years of experience in public company finance, regulatory compliance, and corporate administration and development with multiple publicly listed companies. Prior to joining Pacgen, Ms. Yip served as Vice President, Finance and Administration for Cardiome Pharma Corp., a TSX and NASDAQ listed pharmaceutical company. She also serves as CFO consultant to Channel Resources Ltd, la company listed on TSX Venture Exchange. Previous to these appointments, Ms. Yip was involved with a management company that oversaw a portfolio of publicly listed mining and exploration companies.
Ms. Yip received her Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) degree from Simon Fraser University and her professional accounting degree from the Certified Management Accountants of BC.
Peter Sheu, M.Sc.
Chief Operating Officer (“COO”)
Mr. Sheu has been COO of Pacgen since February 2012. He brings over 20 years of global business development and operational experience from his previous senior executive roles, in both private and publicly traded companies. He has been involved in technology and consumer products industries, and dealt with many strategic business transactions integrating North American and Asian markets. Mr. Sheu was key to the growth of eGene, Inc., a provider of high-tech biotechnology devices and consumables, from its founder stage to its subsequent acquisition by NASDAQ-listed QIAGEN in 2007.
Mr. Sheu holds a Master of Science degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Frank Lin, MBA
Marketing Director
Mr. Frank Lin was the Regional Sales Marketing Director at Specialdeals.com, a VC funded startup a deal-of-the-day website that features discounted gift certificates usable at local or national companies where he helped the company to accelerate sales revenues and marketing. Prior to that, Mr. Lin had years of sales marketing experiences at Matchbin, Inc, a Web 2.0 Content Management System (CMS) provider for newspaper/radio station/magazine industry and at VeriSilicon, a Fabless Semiconductor company.
Mr. Lin received his B.A. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
